San Severo, the 2025/2026 Theater Season of the "Giuseppe Verdi" Theater was presented.

The great season of the Teatro Comunale “Giuseppe Verdi” in San Severo is back , which from December 5, 2025 to April 12, 2026 will host a top-notch program, included in the Puglia Culture – Circuito Teatrale circuit. The new season, officially presented by the Municipality of San Severo, promises to be one of the most ambitious in recent years: a perfect balance between tradition and innovation , great performers and new plays , comedy, music and theater classics .
A journey through emotion, irony and cultureThe season will open on Friday 5 December with “Ubi maior” , a contemporary drama by Franco Bertini with Leo Gassmann and Sabrina Knaflitz , directed by Enrico Maria Lamanna , an intense story about the value of principles and moral courage.
On December 11th it will be the turn of “Music from Cinema” , a musical journey into the world of soundtracks with Carmine Padula and the National Cinema Symphony Orchestra .
On January 9th, the Verdi stage will host “Nero a metà Experience” , a musical tribute to Pino Daniele , with Gigi De Rienzo, Ernesto Vitolo and Agostino Marangolo , historical musicians of the Neapolitan singer-songwriter.
Great interpreters of the Italian sceneOn January 19th, Michele Riondino will make his directorial and stage debut with “Art” by Yasmina Reza , a comedy about friendship and ego, brimming with sarcasm and melancholy. On January 28th , Caterina Murino will play the famous “The Wise Widow” by Carlo Goldoni , directed by Giancarlo Marinelli , with the vocal participation of Jean Reno .
February brings the great classics and auteur comedies: on February 3rd, Massimo Ghini and Galatea Ranzi will stage “The Widower,” an adaptation of Dino Risi ’s film. On February 11th, satire takes center stage with “A Mirror – a false and unauthorized one” by Sam Holcroft , starring Ninni Bruschetta , Fabrizio Colica , Greg , and Paola Michelini .
On February 19th, Emilio Solfrizzi will write and perform “Anfitrione” , a classic by Plautus reinterpreted with modern irony, while on February 26th the group Gli Ipocriti will perform “Ditegli sempre di sì” by Eduardo De Filippo , a comic reflection on madness and normality.
March and April: Irony, Myth, and MusicalsIn March, Drusilla Foer 's elegance arrives with "Venere Nemica" (March 5), a refined juxtaposition of myth and modernity written with Giancarlo Marinelli . On March 16, it will be Giorgio Panariello 's turn with "E se domani..." (And if tomorrow...") , a new show combining comedy, music, and fantasy that promises laughter and reflections on the present and the future.
